(This is her first college essay on her goals and who inspired her.)
My life and career goals are to finish with an associates degree from Hinds Community College in Graphic Design and Production. To get a great job somewhere and be a productive and successful adult. To buy a home of my own have a family and to be as Independent as possible.I have always wanted to be a Graphic Designer and Professional Photographer. Photography to me is a dream I have always wanted to achieve.
I don't feel there is anything that can stop me from achieving my goal of becoming a Graphic Designer and Photographer it is very important to me . I plan to try hard and to achieve everything I can to be able to become what I have always wanted to be . Photography to me is a beautiful thing it captures so many moments and memories that can forever be passed down from generation to generation . I love the idea of being able to work for and with people to help them capture pictures that can hold memories for a lifetime.
I plan to finish College and find a stable and good job to work hard and never give up. I have always loved Graphics and Photography and was inspired by a woman named Tanya Bishop Grossie who is my mentor . She taught me alot one summer when she allowed me to model for her Portrait Studio. I learned alot about business and working with clients and how you can turn a picture into so much more by adding graphics . That was one of my best summer breaks.
I would like to one day have a great job with the possiblity of maybe having a side business in Photography like my mentor . I want to be a successful , independent and goal oriented adult who shoots for the stars and never gives up on her dream! I believe if I stay positive I can do anything because God is my strength and through him all things are possible .
When I read this I literately cried!!! I could die today and be happy because I touched one person!! I was just sitting here thinking today that I wish I could inspire just one person to follow their dreams and to be all they can and then I read this. Kelsey is such a sweet girl with a wonderful spirit and I know she will go far in life!! Thank you so much Kelsey!!! Love You!!!
